The Pottery Experience
Our adventure as an apprentice potter began at the age of 5, we went to a multi-technique workshop with Nicole and Lucien, every Saturday, we wanted to stay there all week, and started our first pot with coils.
Our passion
In childhood we were already passionate about art, from our youngest age we visited the French heritage. My grandmother every vacation makes us sometimes see the museums, the castles for example and especially we do a lot of flea markets. I have a memory of going to the museum and being fascinated by the colors and the words, polychrome the statue is polychrome. Words of adults and I found it magical that this word describes all the colors of this sculpture which dated from a long time ago. Our adventure as an apprentice potter began at the age of 5, we went to a multi-technique workshop with Nicole and Lucien, every Saturday, we wanted to stay there all week, and started our first pot with coils.
Developing interests
In school our heads were in the stars, not adapted to the school system. On the other hand we could spend several hours coloring, and playing with the clay, letting our imagination speak.
The years went by, and we studied art history and archeology at the Sorbonne. The little girls who played at doing archaeological digs with pebbles in the garden continued to dream. Our grandmother when she retired started doing ceramics, making sculptures and she had bought a kiln to fire her pieces. We were always multi-disciplines, from knitting to painting, from sculpture to crochet. We wanted to try everything.
A legacy
Then our grandmother died and left us a potter's kiln, and all her tools. And that's how our passion was born. We met a lady who passed on her love of ceramics to us for 1 year. We persevered, continuing the path of ceramic.
Now we are developing yoga and pottery retreats in parallel.
We are inspired by the surrounding nature to create.
All pieces are made by 4 hands, we co create together.
Unique pieces are for sale here on our shop.
