The Pottery Experience
Our adventure as an apprentice potter began at the age of 5, we went to a multi-technique workshop with Nicole and Lucien, every Saturday, we wanted to stay there all week, and started our first pot with coils.
Our passion
In our childhood we were already passionate about art, from our youngest age we visited the French heritage. During every holidays our grand mother broad us to museums, castles for and a lot flea markets. We have a lots of memories in museum and being fascinated by colors and the words, polychrome statues. Our adventure as an apprentice potter began at the age of 5, we went to a multi-technique workshop with Nicole and Lucien, every Saturday, we wanted to stay there all week, and started our first pot with coils.
Developing interests
At school our heads were in the stars, we were definitely not adapted to the school system. On the other hand we could spend several hours coloring, and playing with the clay, letting our imagination speak.
The years went by, and we studied art history and archeology at the Sorbonne. The little girls who played at doing archaeological digs with pebbles in the garden continued to dream. Our grandmother when she retired started doing ceramics, making sculptures and she had bought a kiln to cook her pieces. We were always multi-disciplines, from knitting to painting, from sculpture to crochet. We wanted to try everything.
A legacy
Then our grandmother died and left us a potter's kiln, and all her tools. And that's how our passion was born. We met a lady who passed on her love of ceramics to us for 1 year. We persevered, continuing the path of ceramic.
Now we are developing yoga and pottery retreats in parallel.
We are inspired by the surrounding nature to create.
All pieces are made by 4 hands, we co create together.
Unique pieces are for sale here in our shop.
